- About The Organizers
- Since the early 2000s, flag football in Cebu was played primarily in 7v7 and 8v8 formats. However, the pandemic brought a sharp decline in the local player base. To bridge this gap, CIFFA was established in 2022 with a clear goal: to revitalize and grow the sport from the ground up. By organizing annual rookie camps and tournaments, we have consistently brought fresh talent into our community. In 2025, as flag football gained massive global momentum, we transitioned to the international IFAF 5v5 format to align with global standards. Looking ahead, our next mission is expanding to the youth level. We are rolling out upcoming camps in schools and local communities specifically designed to grow the sport for the under-17 (17U) division. Today, CIFFA serves as one of the governing bodies for flag football in Cebu, a community-driven organization dedicated to transforming local passion into international recognition while shaping the next generation of Filipino players.
